    Ski Magazine Rankings

Sugarbush made it to # 7 this year. K and Jay didn't make the top 10. I guess they were light on the advertising budget this year.

    Here's how they stacked up:
    1. Tremblant
    2. Whiteface
    3. Stowe
    4. Okemo
    5. Stratton
    6. Sugarloaf
    7. Sugarbush
    8. Sunday River
    9. Smuggs
    10. Loon
Trouble with you is the trouble with me,
Got two good eyes but we still don’t see!

You seem surprised. Haven't you figured out that these don't mean a damn thing yet? If it was based on what mountains are actually good then it would be a completely different list.

That is why I stand by my assessment of "meh."

Nicer are the following ranking that go into the overall ranking

    Terrain Variety #1

    Overall Satisfaction #2

    Service #3

.....And those are a few of the reasons we drive (family of 5) the extra 43 miles up route 100 to experience Sugarbush! It is a long haul from NJ but the extra miles makes all the difference. Sugarbush has the true New England skiing feel, but with more professionalism and sincere welcoming warmth (and fewer Land Rovers) than some of the ?higher rated? areas. IMHO[/quote]

    Those extra 43 miles...

...are the best part of the drive (we rented in Killington before buying in Sugarbush).
