I've heard the mention of Hunter Green for many of the newly green roofs, in the last year or so.
And now that I think about it, I have heard mention of Vermont Green... but I think that is a totally different subject.
Here is an interesting one. Does anybody know if there is a specific Ben Moore or any high end paints that have the color "Vermont Green".
If not, does anybody have a suggestion for what that color might be? We want to paint some exterior funiture Vermont Green and there are differing opinions as to what that color really is. Let me know your thoughts.......

and I- I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Any paint shop is going to tell you to look at a color chart and then apply a sample. Ben Moore "Vermont Green" maybe "Kelly Green" to someone else. Most places can custom mix something for you especially if they have a "color reader" on site.
Try this for starters:

"Quietly Heartbroken Tennis Player."
I would call the local tax assesor. They should know what Vermont Green is!!!!
Thanks Freeheel. That looks close to what I would consider Vermont Green.Originally Posted by freeheel_skier

It's not paint-related, but the new green color scheme on Clearwater Sports' site has a lot of nice greenish hues: http://clearwatersports.com/
Ithaca is (not) Vermont (but it is gorges)
That's a great site Bill. I don't think I will show my wife thou....

I can't tell you how many e-mails I got today that said basically the same thing.Originally Posted by Lostone

I was discussing the weight of some of the discs, a week or so ago. I mentioned to the person I was talking to, that I'd like to have a good scale, to determine the weight of some of my discs.
Then I stopped, laughed and exclaimed how far my life had gone. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Grab a license plate (VT that is...) or perhaps one of the newer state highway marker signs. The plates seem to be a bit closer to a hunter or forest green with the signs more of a brighter green. Either way this would be a couple of examples of an "official" Vermont green.
Here is a link to the state web site that has all of the "official" colors for the state of vermont.
http://cmo.vermont.gov/sites/cmo/fil....0_2009_W3.pdf
The color they have posted is PMS 356 - it seems a little lighter than what I was thinking the offical color is.
I also found this:
http://www.nd.edu/~ndfood/2004-2005/...s_3_02.fh9.pdf
It is the official logo colors for Green Mountain Coffee - PMS 343
Not sure what you had in mind, but I think it is closer to what I had in mind
BTW - don't go by what you see on the screen, you have to look at a PMS book - I think most paint stores will have one.
Oh...and no "grabbing" that plate, please. I need it.
Thanks. That is exactly the kind of official site I was looking for.Originally Posted by djd66
