    August is ARTS!

For those of you who've been hiding under a rock, you should know that the Vermont Festival of the Arts goes all the way thru August, with a final return for the Labor Day weekend crafts show.

There are photography, painting and sculpture. There are music and theater performances. There are open artist galleries. There is food.

I've seen three theater performances and am planning on 2 more, this weekend.

Check out their website. http://www.vermontartfest.com/ There has got to be something that makes it worth a day's exploring.

And that has made all the difference.

You can come and see what noski does in her spare time: Sunday 8/23 a cappella music in the barbershop style, 4pm by donation at Waitsfield Church venue.

I'll have to try to remember to check that out.

Saw a great performance, last night. It was two spoken pieces and two plays. One was from a short story by Tennessee Ernie Williams, and the other, I can't remember the writer, but it was great.

This was a Phantom Theater performance. It was FAVORITE BEATLE And Other Scenes of Unlikely Betrayal. (Who was your favorite Beatle?)

Also, check out the serving pelican in the Big Red Barn.

Great stuff happening al over the valley!

Don't we have a morals clause, here, hat requires people to be upstanding citizens?

Oh wait, if we did that, the forum would probably be empty... including of me.

Well I did notice that one of the local criminals got caught!

I hear she'll be serving her sentence downtown, later today.

lol- We sang "Don't Fence Me In" for our bail. We were glad to help the Senior Meals program- though I heard Lostone misunderstood what to do when the hat was passed. I think he made $4.27 that day.

I didn't misunderstand. I'm not as dumb as I look. (That would be impossible. )

    I made more than that.

Sorry I missed your show. Spent too long on the hill.
