A bit of a summer cooler here from late May in CO

    Love your sense of humor, A. Tell me about the gear you guys have on. What kind of climbing was involved? Love seeing you tip those skis on edge. Keep smilin'. ; }

    The gear...............

    Skiladi: we needed to use ice axe and crampons on the ascent because this was a 4 am start to keep the wet slide danger to a minimum. It was pretty frozen at the start but softened quick. We also roped up for the steepest sections and built a T-slot and an N anchor for two separate belays. The great thing is how much good skiing is available in CO from late April into end of May with excellent weather. Here's a shot of no name cirque in Berthoud pass and the North chutes.

    I also went to Colorado in May after our season ended. Good times.
