The Valley House never looked so good! It would be a real shame to see it go away.
You just need to ski often to find it.
Doing my snow dance!

Great Photo. VH does look good!
That rainbow terminates somewhere North of Sugarbush.....Up near Stowe! Now I can believe there is a pot of gold up there. Especially as AIG is getting plenty of dough from the current administration.
what is all that brown stuff along the edges of the trails!?!
Sounds like we made out ok with the recent storm. Hoping for a few more inches on Saturday.
That's a really cool pic!
Some awesome sunrises I've seen on my early mornings at the mountain - gotta start bringin' my camera more often.
Love the VH, please keep it.
Ends at Jay!
You found where the rainbow terminates ?? How many dwarfs were there ? How much gold did you find ? Was there a season pass included ? Sugarbush or Stowe ?Originally Posted by castlerock
No, I was just hypothesizing based on the photo. It is obviously NE of LP, and just thinking where one might find gold in that general direction.Originally Posted by barkbiter
And as Walks so sagely pointed out, it could be Jay, they definitely have more white gold....
that wasn't frmo today or yesterday was it? If so, I'm surprised at how thin the snowpack looks.Originally Posted by Treeskier
Pretty certain that was during Holiday Week.... the date says 2008.... there's a line at the Valley House lift, and that's pretty much how things looked on the Saturday and/or Sunday after Christmas, between the drops.
the pic is old. maybe from the weekend after Xmas? there is no bare ground now.
I'm from Vermont and I ski where I want.

Regarding the VH, it does look good with it's new paintjob done mostly by the rider in this thread. Good job MM and crew!

Skiing is a dance, and the mountain always leads.
