I'd say anything from Carhartt to Chanel is probably fair game...
"Attire for Saturday evening is "Vermont Black Tie." "
Please clue a flatlander in, what is Vermont Black Tie?
I picture a green cummerbund, black patent leather ski boots, black and white plaid shirt, and black silk ski pants. Did I forget something?

Ithaca is (not) Vermont (but it is gorges)
It's just like regular black-tie only the bow tie is flannel and made from hemp products.

Two roads diverged in a wood,

And that has made all the difference.
Is there a fee for the Friday night film?

There is no fee for the Friday movie night in GH. Just buy some beverages!
The dinner on Saturday after the torch light parade and fireworks will be a very nice buffet, and we will have reserved seating in both Timbers and the GH. Reservations will be required ,and you can reserve tables to be with those you want to sit with. The buffet will be the same in both venues. Dancing will begin at 9pm after some remarks by Stein (via video) and Sigi Grottendorfer (in person). It will be a fun couple of days. The cost per person will be $50 for the food and the band. Drinks are extra and the bars will be open throughout the day and night.
It sounds like fun. My only take is with it being our 50th and we started in the rock'en roll era....why a disco band. Uug.
Tree, 1958-59 was more like Elvis not Rock and Roll, Right? I beleive that 58' was the year that Elvis joined the Army. The names Jerry Lee Lewis and Connie Fransis come to mind also.
Anyway, I agree with the Disco thing. I lived through that once already... Is that going to be the music selection?
Trouble with you is the trouble with me,
Got two good eyes but we still don’t see!
