    New owner for The Den

    The new owner of The Den just received a liquor license and will re-open the place as Ake's Den as a sportsbar/pub. Owners name is Mark Akey per an article in todays VR. He began the purchase proceess last winter.



    Activity around the former Bass Restaurant is continuing it will be am italian family place. Lots of major renovations.

    Still not quite used to driving by the Blue Tooth and the parking lot is one big empty.

    It is weird driving by the empty lot. Is anything going to replace it?

    Affordable housing (Wheeler Brook) will be on the site of the Blue Tooth.

    I can't wait to try some of the new places opening up. Monday the Taste of the Valley, Gatehouse.....Ummmmmmmmm.
