is WOW! What an epic season!

Stein's was still fat, even on the last day. No sign of the big rock at the bottom even.

Skiing into spring.

This guy went huge and launched all the way from the top of Lincoln Peak to the base area. Fortunately, the zip line was set up, so he could latch on and avoid a bad landing.

Is it really the end though?

It was another great weekend and an awesome way to wrap up the season. Unfortunately I won't be making it up this weekend even if they are open, but I am still shooting for Tucks in a couple of weeks.

Hey, that's Maine. If I recall my American History classes, Maine doesn't even have statehood, yet. And all those "Maine" blueberries actually come form New Jersey.

We're focused on the Sovereign Republic of Vermont here !

....right now you'd be viewing snowflakes here in Central NY. Big fat ones that are looking like they might stick.

And, all right, I guess those tiny, sweet Maine bloobs are okay compared to the grape sized, steroid pumped versions from elsewhere. Nothing quite like blueberry pancakes with real imitation Maple Syrup from a factory in Indiana.

And we're having flakes up here, but nothing substantial.

And the blueberry story is probably similar to the strawberries, around here. I had some friends up, last summer. In the morning, the mom was trying to get the daughter to eat a couple of the mutant California strawberries, and having tons of trouble.

Later, that morning, we were out on a hike. I pointed out some of our tiny natural strawberries, and she couldn't get enough of them. Their size is small, but their taste is quite large.

and were melted by about 5 minutes later. Exciting while it lasted.

And regarding small fruit, this is America, dammit.....bigger is better when it comes to government, and fruit !

Driving up Moretown Common Road this AM, Camel's Hump was freshly covered in white... didn't see as much over on the LP/ME side. But, it snowed off and on in Montpelier all day, some pretty good squalls at times. Wouldn't it be funny/nice if the weather we had for the last half of April was our summer and now we're seeing the first flakes of a new season and that we all slept through May-September without even realizing it??? Nah... just spring time in VT
