    The changeover has started

    11:16 39.0 Rain
    11:34 38.3 Pouring rain.
    11:52 33.1 Snowing like anything!

Now if we could turn down the fan...
    .
Two roads diverged in a wood,

and I- I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

Those were temps and conditions from my deck in Sugarbush Village.

And yes... They turned off the snow and left the fan on high.

Strange, since it at Waterbury, its a very light wind. I was expecting my "empties" to be littering my driveway, but that's not the case. Must be a truly elevation wind event.

I just hope conditions are good for this weekend, as my cousin and friend are coming up for their first visit in 2 years to ride the Bush. Thank god this "premature snow" event was very short-lived in duration.

I've heard snow then sleet then back to snow. I'll take that and hope for the best.

we probably picked up 2" which bonded well. It is incredibly windy tonight, and we are attempting to groom as much as possible tonight to make sure the trails are as in good shape as possbile. While today was nasty in many ways, it is getting us up well for the next snow. Very little snow was lost!

Can't say I like the looks of Friday's traveling weather.

    NOAA's forecast for 2900'

It won't be good but coming from NY most of the trip should be mostly very immature snow. Rutland to Warren will be interesting.
Just hoping that what comes down on the mtn is all grown up and ready to play.
