nobody seems to be bullish about this event. 1 day out and not even an alert from the NWS despite snow in the forecast.
Looks like all the Mets are gun shy after the last fiasco. It currently looks like there will be a few inches of fresh for Friday and maybe more for Sunday AM (along with cold temps).Originally Posted by HowieT2

Josh Fox posted late yesterday that he thinks 4-8 by Sunday morning on top of what we will get tomorrow. Others say less. Without regurgitating all the technical talk from the WX forums the current models show that there will be some LES. Usually when Josh and Scott Braaten align there is 99% certainty on the forecast. Scott is at Whistler and has not chimed in so I guess we will see..... Treeskier you still dancing...Originally Posted by HowieT2

We couldn't quite bring everything together perfectly for Friday but the combination of a clipper system passing through Quebec and a storm moving north along the Atlantic Coast will still provide very nicely for MRG. Snow will begin just prior to daybreak on Friday and continue for about 6 hours potentially becoming heavy for a brief period of time. We should see 1-3 inches by first tracks time Friday and 5-8 inches when snow abruptly tapers off during the afternoon. Temperatures in the 20's will be cold enough to support our powder day but warm enough for comfort so get at it !
Roger hill is reporting that there is a possibility of 1-2' of snow between yesterday and next wednesday......now that would be nice!
