The Tuesday (Jan 8th) to Sat. (Jan 12th) weather thread.

Would be curious to get ongoing reports of "what is" actually happening (vs. weather forecasts of what "might be") as the week progresses.

Sunny and 62 degrees in Central NY this AM. Bugs buzzing, squirrels out in force, and no white anywhere. Depressing.

On second thoughts, please refrain from any further updates until subfreezing temperatures have returned.

For the record, skiing for the last two days was excellent. Yesterday, visibility had a little to be desired, but most of today, haze was light and the snow was soft.

We're going to have to pay for this, but some of us were out to get what we're going to have to pay for.

I see snow showers starting tomorrow afternoon, on the forecast. We need all the snowflakes to bring all their snowflake friends.

    Winter returns this weekend.
