A tempting idea...
so how much does it cost to trailer a few loads of this stuff:
OSWEGO, N.Y. - While the northern Plains and Northeast shiver in dangerously cold temperatures, the folks in upstate New York are keeping warm shoveling snow — lots of snow. Since Sunday, the small towns of Parish and Mexico have recorded more than 6 feet of snow, and forecasters with the National Weather Service say it isn't over yet.
cover up some of those weeds that are still poking through

I always thought it would be a great busines plan to build a trash dump on the East side of Oswego. When it was high enough cover it and turn it into ski hill. Kill two birds with one stone. Finding a place to put NYC's trash and giving that area a reason to have all that snow.

Let's leave the trash in NYC and Boston................
GS: Tug hill is great as is. It doesn't need the NYC and Boston trash. Some of us prefer to live in places not surrounded by cities, dumps, and copious trash. If you are dying for some pow, head to snow ridge. It may be short vert, but it's pretty much blower right now. We'll leave land fill skiing to Mt Brighton MI, and since the valley is getting some snow maybe that pow jones might be taken care of.................
