Sorry, it just needed its own thread.

From what I can tell the forecasts call for 6-12 inches. Is that at base or can there be more up top (I think we all deserve to have some greedy thoughts)?
I have to work in NYC tomorrow, so I'm hoping wednesday morning is worth the driving up tomorrow night.
Okay, we're officially down to 4-8, but I will officially take it.

If I were to take a gander, I'd say we'll get 8 in the valley, and 12-14 on the summits. But that's just a wild guess... we'll have to wait and see what happens. All I know for sure is that it's gonna snow! Of course, I'd like to see 18-24, but I don't think that will happen . I guess I'll be happy with whatever we get.
I'm staying up until there is 1" on the ground....

National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning. I tend to stick to the NWS reports... they're usually ALMOST accurate compared to everyone else. nws.noaa.gov. They're still saying 6-12.Originally Posted by Strat

I've been looking at the forecast for Moretown, which has the Montpelier 4 to 8 forecast, but the Eastern Addison County etc one below that seems more appropriate
Oh, really good radar for anyone who wants to see also... http://weather.unisys.com/satellite/...ad_loop-12.gif

I'm 35 miles north of NYC in the Hudson valley and it's 37 degrees and raining now.
