about 48 degrees, light rain to moderate rain, heavy at times.
Winds calm to breezy, with occasional gusts.

Overall things have been pretty variable, From viewing the radar the Mountain seems to be holding things back, though unfourtionatly the rain is inevitable. I wonder if anything will be left on Elbow, and I hope organgrinder and Downspout hold up ok.

I will post another update about 1:00 in the morning, and then a few tomorow with any substantial changes.....

    Think Snow.....

The only thing the mountain is holding back is the radar beam, unfortunately.

seriously? I guess that has to have some effect on the radar, and the weather mostly as low level clouds.....

Edit 12:50 PM, It aint doing much right now, the temperature is down to a degree or so, I am calling it quits for tonight. The rain has tapered off a bit, probably a good thing as it would be nice to have a little bit of snowpack left.....

Norm's weather page says its 35 degrees out....the Sugarbush on mtn temps say its still in the 50s. Are the bush temps wrong or is the temp inversion still in place?

The temps on the website are definitely wrong. I was at the base of ME this morning and it wasn't quite 40. Then I looked at the site and it said mid 50s. So the temps are definitely off.

    Weather update, 12/1 @ 1:45

Temp at base of ME is 35 degrees, and it is raining lightly. At the summit, it is a mix of rain and sleet, but nothing that is going to accumulate or be helpful yet . But, the temps are dropping and we should see some white stuff falling soon!

    THINK SNOW!

The temps on the bush site are nice, but they don't get updated very often.

In the last two days they read the exact same thing all day long.

They were updated in the morning, then. . . nothing.

It seems to have been taken care of. Check http://www.sugarbush.com.

Just to make me feel better can someone post when the snow starts. This rain thing is seriously depressing. Being at work in NYC is even more annoying because everyone keeps saying "well thank god it's not snow" Fools and infidels that they are.

I'll let you know as soon as I see it starting.
