Looks like Central VT might be the sweet spot for the storm. Finally! This website/weather blog explains nicely: http://www.famousinternetskiers.com/...storm-charlie/

Accuweather is saying heavy snow late tonight. Regarding the mixed snow/rain in the morning, lets just cross our fingers and hope elevation
plays a role. Just what we need right now is some wet sloppy snow with a high water content.

This is what we need. IIRC last year we couldnt buy a high density snow early in the season to build up the base. We kept getting light fluffy upslope stuff, which is nice but better to have the heavier variety first.

forcast for warren is saying 11.2 inches, and if it is heavier that will be great.

Been snowing since little before 10p at the mountain, at same elevation as top of Village Double. Slowly increasing in intensity. Ground covered though just barely. Nice. Keep it coming Ullr!
    No mountain too steep
    No powder too deep

    (well, not exactly)
