    SNOW

Five unexpected inches instead of rain this afternoon and the weekend forecast is looking nice!

What a nice surprise today was!

This morning, the rain was coming down and temps were quite mild - 40s to near 50. Shortly after 11, the precip changed to snow and it came down heavy at times throughout the day and continuing past last-chair times. My final run on Downspout at 5:15pm was a delight - not what I expected after the 9:15 run down the same trail which was "variable".

Looking at the snow report, looks like we have crossed the 300" barrier, and may have ended up with a net gain after an entire night of "NCP". Definitely not what we expected!

300" is awesome. but can we put some in the bank for me for next season?

Things are shaping up for a nice weekend. Looks like some good Spring bumps on tap. Any music planned for Apre on the Castlerock Patio?

The sun came out this morning for a while, but it's been snowing for most of the day. These were all shot today. There were freshies on Liftline at 1pm.

    If I didn't know better...

....I'd think all you guys do is loiter around and ski freshies all day.

Don't you have to rake up winter blow downs or something that approximates work ? It just ain't fair....

The problem is, hunting for freshies so they can stop and make a video, that is their work. I'm sure it took a lot of snooping in the trees and looking at the light and Egan had to think of what to say and so on. That's work... sort of. You remember what Egan's job title is, right?

How about making some videos of how good the beer tastes right after skiing freshies with nobody around? I want to see videos of that. I'm sure that falls under the umbrella of promotional videos. Maybe Win needs to make that video himself.

    Get to work you guys.

Wow. today was one of the best spring days ever. Great snow, bluebird skies, soft everything, not much mush except at the bottom.

Freshies all afternoon. Come on up.

Jay, you know that was shot in about an hour and then I spent the rest of the day on the computer and in meetings. But the illusion of skiing all day in never-ending powder is pretty compelling, right?

As for HB's video request, I am unfamiliar with this "beer." Can anyone provide a sample or two? For research purposes only ...

You know someone has to get it....and as they say you have to be there to get it. If I had more flexibility with my work I would one of those people. I just can't give up the sea coast in total like some have done. Skiing a spring weekend and shooting home Sunday afternoon to sit at the beach for a sunset cocktail or get in a MTB ride is propably my perfect weekend.

BTW trails on the North Shore of Boston are dry and beautiful right now. I have about 10 days/nights in so far.

    My not being there...

....must fall under "Egan's Laws of Excusification" or "Egan's laws of Grass is Always Greener" or some such. I need to pay better attention in class !
