I spy with my little eye.....snowflakes.
There is a winter weather advisory for today, with 3"-6" predicted locally. The northern part of the state has a warning and will see more snow. The mountains should get higher amounts as well. Perhaps just enough to cover up a few obstacles that started to show up the past few days.

thinking about heading up this weekend with a MRG Virgin...hows the mountain skiing/condtions?
I leave you all now for 2 weeks, and it's now snowing big slow flakes. After this point you are on your own. I only have 5 inches to reach my prediction from last fall. Have fun!!

Great job, Noski! We can provide the last 5"!
Looks like some more snow possibly tomorrow night into Thursday and then some sun on Saturday and Sunday. It should be a great midwinter weekend.
Don't worry ... it wasn't that good yesterday. Plus, there were no people. How could we know it was good, without witnesses? There were seven tracks on Liftline at 1pm.
Better be here!

Great pic!
Upslope Friday into Saturday I am hearing. 6 - 12"????? I guess we will see.
Trouble with you is the trouble with me,
Got two good eyes but we still don’t see!
Doesn't look like any more snow this week. Just sun over the weekend. The woods are great now.
Nope, no more snow ....
This morning on Ripcord.

Great pix JA.
That explains those beautiful powder 8's under the heaven's gate lift yesterday, first thing.
We found really nice fluffy powder all over the mountain. Where the wind blew in swirls (think woods between heaven's gate and castlerock) there was certainly more then the reported couple inches. We made first tracks all morning all over the mountain. What a great day at Sugarbush! The continued flurries actually coveedr tracks from early skiers in parts of the mountain. At noon we skied somewhere that looked and skied like fresh but found out later that another group had hit it first thing. Nice.
If you slept in, you missed it. "Better Be Here!" on powder days. You never know what your going to get!
Hope that you all got out there this weekend. I got up to Mount Ellen early on Saturday, which was unplanned, and was rewarded with soft grooming and fresh 2-3 inches on top. Skied the groomers and loved the conditions. Decided to roll the dice at about 9:30 on FIS. Four runs later, including some turns in FIS Woods, and I was in heaven. Amazing how the little bit of snow made things so much better. FIS was drifted pow and skied awesome right up until lunch today. Lower FIS was off the hook as well. Midwinter conditions. Wow. What a nice surprise weekend.
