    Bravo and Gatehouse Lifts

Why so much downtime this past week for Bravo and Gatehouse? I can see the early week issues with windholds, but it sure seemed like the lifts were down for mechanical or electrical issues during peak time.

During these peak periods, why not spin Gatehouse and heavens gate earlier? Seems like it would be more efficient to spread the load to the upper mtn faster.

As a side note, I thought Win and Team did a great job during the week given the challenged conditions. Hoping this warm-up is brief.

Bravo had two unrelated electrical issues that caused a temporaty shut down for repairs. Yesterday, the switch that regulates the spacing of the chairs failed, and we had to replace it. It isn't always obvious what a particular problem is when a safety mechanism causes the lift to stop. Mechanics have to triage and identify the cause of the stop and then move to fix it. Once the problem was identified the repair yesterday was made in less than 30 minutes. Unfortunately, these things happen periodically. It is bad luck when it happens at a peak time.

Not to jinx things but North Ridge has not had any problems for a long time. GMX yesterday was struggling with the full load though at one point.....lots of bouncing and stopping.
