Are these the same low-e guns that the mountain already has in use?
If the mountain is down 5% from last year in a very poor snow year (imo) and last year had the most skier visits in SV history (correct?), doesn't that still make this year a relatively good one...
I found this on Twitter.

Just wanted to give a quick round of thanks to the crew at the sports club. Lauren was quite gracious about accommodating my climbing wishes on short notice during this not so great skiing period....
No complaints* from me. the freaking snow lasted till May and Saturday was a great party. Putting a band aid on coffee run to keep the skiing going is a little bit like fixing the health care system...
Are they still scanning the tickets? Maybe if it was more of a wand with a checkered flag, that would be really fun.
Skivideoguy - No pass for me this year, maybe next. Two trips out west instead...
Oh yea, we got another howlie!
Considering that I've skied more than a thousand days at the bush as my home mountain I dibt think im a day tripping nit picker. What I do have though is an eye for...
Reverse traverse doesn't really go anywhere. It increases the trail count even though it only runs from bird land to jester and it's really a partial opening, maybe 8 percent of the trail. It's...

Thanks for the info on the pass rates and increases from last year.
I don't expect to ski for free, and they can offer whatever price and pass options they like. I just don't understand the...
Does anyone know how much passes will be for next year? I forget how much they were pre-season last year but I remember them taking a big jump from early season to regular in 11-12.
Even more...
Sorry, the closest options for ski touring are Killington and Mad River Glen. Groomers and snowmakers need access to the trails and it's dangerous to have uphill skier traffic at the same time as any...
I thought the air was the problem (besides the warm temps).
So using the old guns, how many of these would you need to cover ripcord and OG in a week (assuming unlimited fuel, water, and good...
With the warmer temps moving in I hope that they can get ~12 hours of snowmaking a day on the gate house over the next week. Sure, being top to bottom would be great but without that quad going for...
