I do really enjoy the app...think its one of the best in the east for ski resorts. quick access to web cams and the conditions.
Thanks for the response. i was back again today hoping for a bit...
Fun couple runs this morning but the snow got sticky quick. by 10am i was having trouble getting my board to move on anything less than an expert trail lol. Ripcord under the chair was my favorite...
agree with you and howie on that one.
Fantastic conditions out there today all things considered. it definitely snowed and the snow looked very light and flurry so probably settled but there was about 4" in the woods off Jester where I...
just saw win's word posted to social media stating 6" of snow fell today... so the snow tally must be right over the written.
it also says that this is no longer the least snowiest winter in...
Win thanks for the response. so was today's actually measured at the summit stake? So this is the first year of the new measuring location and that makes a lot of sense. I've been a pass holder...
I see the 1:42 updte this afternoon says 7" of snowfall since 6am. The summit snow stake seems drifted over again at 4".
But holy sh*t at 7 inches since 6am this morning... can anyone verify...
pretty standard to see on spring snow reports around the region that "some trails may see delayed openings until it softens" or something to that effect.
I can't blame them for measuring directly at the summit, as it is what it is. From a rider standpoint I usually find the mid-mountain measurement more indicative of what you'll actually find when...
Today was better than expected...well I went expecting the absolute worst. Snow softened up on the lower mountain but upper mountain was quite firm with a free foot massage on the side. It poured...
Ha hopefully it doesn't completely fall on deaf ears.
Some of it is over-obsession by many a skier & snowboarder but some of it (like just getting the 24/48/72 hour totals correct with the time...
No you are right! It was Mark and I think it was a full time gig for him back then. He was the one who wouldn't report snow until it was a "fat Sugarbush inch"..none of the like heavy dusting...
Im sure it seems nitpicky but reading through the whole thread in the past couple days it seems other folks notice thsi little stuff too. We are obsessed and when stuck at work you have a lot of...
Not to continue to harp on the snow report but one last thing that bugs me is when I check the afternoon update and still see 7" of new snow in the last 24 hours. Skies have been clear for the last...
Anyone get out today and have some beta on how the snow held up? Putting a nice spring wax on the snowboard tonight and hoping the rain holds off.
I just found this forum the other day by...
That makes sense, I know it isn't perfect it just seemed like someone up there (even to put the lift on hold I'm assuming someone goes up to the top) would've realized it earlier but I know it's not...
I see at 1:20pm the snowfall jumped up to 7" at the summit and 3" at the base... although there were numerous morning updates stating 3" and then 4" and then the sun came out. Then at 1pm it jumped...
Is this earlier than normal to go down to just Super Bravo and Heavens Gate? Or does that normally happen at the end of March?
I seem to remember riding more terrain into April but I'm sure...
Very cool on the snow stake cam!
ShadyJay, would you be able to give some details as to where it is located?
