The Roxbury Gap is only time a savings if you are going to Warren. If Waitsfield or Fayston is your destination, then Exit 9 is shorter.

I have to agree w/ DP. The way I see it, you were probably slowing them down. skiing in a large group is no way to score first tracks anyhow.
You really shouldn't let this sort of thing bum you...
Thanks for the TR. especially the pics. I don't usually post on them, just look. I am laid up this winter with a torn achilles tendon. The stoke and TRs will get me through the painful PT.
"I'll...
I wonder if Ross is from Waterbury???
Win, Your always welcome for a home cooked meal at my house on Rt. 17. Usual fare is simple but wholesome, always hot and fresh. It's a family atmosphere, and you never know who will be there....

I met Teleo at the map this time last year, and had a few great turns with him, however, I cant make it this year. Alas, there is no skiing for me. I fully ruptured my Achilles tendon , and just had...
Eric and crew have been working hard on it all year. I'm buying one.
Informed sources tell me there is a pic of my daughter in it. I guess she will go down in history as the "agony of defeat" of...
I applaud SBs attempt to bring back bum skiing, but you only have to go to MRG to find fabulous moguls.
We have a family theory (credit to my daughter Abby) that people "don't ski moguls" because...
I'm with Noski on this one. FG White is one of those scarce companies that is a pleasure to do business with. I can't say enough great things about them. They are the whole deal, Quality, Service and...
Thanks, that's great!!!
I will spread the word to all of my ski buddies at MRG, as well as down in Simsbury, and of course, I will do my best to get there and spend some $$$.
If last weekend is...
I parked my Chevy 2500 HD for the winter and bought a used Subaru Outback. Also four new Blizzak studless snow tires.
The only thing wrong with it is that I didn't buy it five years ago. I cut my...
MRG ticket sales are only limited by the parking. I would head to ME on Sat, but my daughter is doing therJr. Mogul Challange.
Hopefully it will be cold as He##, and that will temper the lines.
Good luck. Deals on A-t are few and far between.
I discovered a minor shortcoming. (at least on last year's model) There is no large pocket on the inside to stow your skins. This is easily...
Boze,
Try this

It is the newer version of mine. The more I wear it, the more I like it. Mine is Gore-tex...
I have a Arc-Teryx sidewinder. I would recommend it highly, but it is a little pricey.
The Gore-tex XCR has served me well.
Here is a quick look a something that I might buy. top quality...
I like the way you think :D The only thing is now I have two kids driving also, so that makes four sets of killer tires. I have this foolish idea that my kids should have tires at least as good as...
That's why you need summer tires and winter tires. summer=performance, winter=traction to feed the addiction
My blizzaks all have Q or R ratings. 100mph is far faster than I intend to drive.
That all depends on exactly what you want it to do. If you are not the type of guy who skies in the pouring rain, then a soft shell might be your best bet.
Give us a little more to work with....
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TIRES Well sort of, experience is a major part of it also.
Most "all season" radials or snows that most cars come with aren't worth s##t in freezing rain, or a quick snow...
6 years of every Friday night and I think I have found the best pizza in VT. (maybe NE)
I91, Exit 3 (Brattleboro) 3/4 of the way around the rotary,
Village Pizza. Great service, very clean,...
There is a rumor going around that there will be a new antenna on the roof of the Birdcage at MRG.
Is there any truth to this ?? (wishful thinking)
Would that be their way through App Gap?
Although this is second hand, I have heard good things from many discriminating skiers about Alpine options. One of my friends from MRG was very impressed with the way they fitted his AT boots.
Welcome to the Valley Teleo! Get ready for a great skiing year. I am a firm believer in the season tune or bulk buy. (7 years of shop experience has taught me the value of properly tuned skis. Now...
Awsome!!! Thanks for the stoke. I'm stuck in CT until December.
