Yeah, but putting a bunch of cheap butts on the lift doesn't necessarily pay off. It makes for more crowds that aren't spending the incremental money like the daytrippers and it annoys everyone...

I didn't realize they still played that when the Patriots don't make it
I think the woods are still pretty thin and everyone should stay on the trails until we get at least 2-3 more feet.
I think you need to chill - I just made one comment that SOME of the Blazer groups aren't exactly great in the trees. I'm not attacking the coaches or saying that most of them don't belong there....

This is always true, regardless of the snowpack. I see way too many people in Slidebrook that have absolutely no business being in there. The Blazer groups are probably some of the worst offenders of...
That's because there are no trees to log in Cambridge...
Absolutely puking in Arlington, not that that does anything for anyone...
It wasn't exactly "first tracks". If we were talking about 6" of pow then this would be an entirely different conversation...
That sounds like a lot of fun. HP has some decent trails.
Debbie Downer - Wahhhhhhhh Wahhhhhhhhh
Clearly I'm Debbie Downer because I come with the opinion that the skiing really isn't that great right now. Sorry for the dose of reality that not...
All valid points - I don't want anyone else on the mountain, I stayed on the open trails and I got there late Sat because I went for a run first when the best skiing of the weekend was to be had. I...
You clearly skied a different mountain than I did. I thought the skiing was pretty terrible. Somebody call me when there's some snow and interesting terrain open.
Someone mentioned waiting in the Season Pass line in another post. If we have our Adult All Mtn 7 Passes from last year, do we need to do anything on the first day of the season or can we go straight...
That's disappointing at best. I always thought the bumps were pretty nice on Cliffs and had some pretty good lines. I guess I see the need for a steep, groomed black diamond but that is definitely...
I doubt that Marketing has much to do with the actual design of the site. The content seems to be the same and I know that in the past Vickery Hill has done the design for the site.
Just went to the website for the first time in a little while and noticed that a new design is up. I think it looks pretty good.
Everybody knows that there is no such thing as awesome skiing at Mt. Snow. My perspective is that I really don't give a damn about snowmaking because I would rather not waste the time to drive up if...
Yup, I've got the Marker Dukes mounted on Volkl Mantras. Needless to say I got in quite a workout on the climb up.
Snow was a bit heavy at MRG yesterday, but the skiing was good and deep. Almost everything at top was skiable. I did one run on Catamount and one on Chute. Both were tough turns but well worth it....
#4. Okemo and #5. Stratton? Really?
You seem surprised. Haven't you figured out that these don't mean a damn thing yet? If it was based on what mountains are actually good then it would be...
That's the chicken and egg problem. You won't have more bars popping up without the people to go there. And you won't have the people that want that scene coming up without those bars.
Personally,...
There usually isn't a college day ticket. For the college pass they typically need a letter from the registrar proving that they are a full time student.
Seriously? FIS? Of all the awesome trails in VT they chose a straight, ice chute...
If you are going to ride the chair, I would rent a downhill bike. The difference is like cross country skis and fat downhill skis. Slack head angle, fatter tires, hydraulic disk brakes = lots of fun....
