That said, without doubt,...
I count min 7 guns blasting away at base btwn Valley dbl abd Bravo, plus others further up the mtn. Stoked.
While we await the return of Winter here in the NE, consider joining a few of us on this deal (I've been trying to convince Howie to pull the trigger but that's nearly impossible):...
Guess I should pull the trigger and buy some new golf clubs...w/ my luck that should have a chilling effect on the weather. Love Spring skiing but usually I love it best when it's actually Spring...
Speaking of missed forecasts, almost pulled the plug on small group trip this past wknd with the doom & gloom of widespread rain. So very glad we kept the faith, though felt like a target of the...

Very sad. Condolences to those who knew this person.
Sunny, 52', breezy down in CT. Did get a few holes in before dusk. No carry, ground not yet frozen. Crazy. Not the Winter I asked Santa for. Sucks being naughy I guess. Still, all things...
Since this ski season so far is a big lemon, getting out for golf in 50-55' weather has provided some solace. But Howie, having seen your attempts at golf I can totally appreciate your comment. And...

Thanks for the info ShadyJ, much appreciated. See you on the hilll this wknd.
Release the Cat on a recon mission - certain they'd find some willing souls to help measure & assess!
Webcam seems to show mixed precip at 2pm - any on mtn reports much appreciated, incl what it's doing up top since us lowlanders are 'blind' to that for the time being.
ohh Ye of little faith... :-)
A virtual toast to the Sugarbush crew, Thanks and Happy 2012.
Fond memories of 2011, always been a fan of the terrain - even way before I became familiar with 'upslope' and what it can deliver! ...
So much for NWS' 28'F f/c for....errrr...right now. Apparently there's a crack in whichever 'model' churned that # out.
Act. temps of 47'F per readings at Norm's, MRG base, Sugarbush base (37'F up...
yes we're restless, and 'it'll happen'
it's just that 'it's happened' elsewhere already, by a magnitude or 2
while all mtns rely on Ma Nature to make things right, some mtns more needy than others...

would like to see an update on opening day for MEllen, or confirmation they're on schedule
Win's commented on MEllen gameplan and interactive map plus daily ski reports for past week have indicated the snowmaking effort that's been going on over at North. In short they've been blowing...
