Sorry if this has already been mentioned. Didn't see it posted. I know the CR chairs went for $200 if I remember correctly. I wonder what these will sell for.

I really wanted to get one of the single chairs for our ski house, when Stowe was selling theirs. Always thought it would be a good thing to have in the front yard of a ski house. Cool

Still think it would be a good thing, but I'm no longer in a ski house and there just isn't the room in here. Crying or Very sad

Anyone else thinking of getting one?

We got one of the CR chairs and it's an awesome little addition to the house/yard. If someone is on the fence about getting one of the Single chairs, by all means go ahead and do it!

What the article failed to mention is that the starting price for bidding purposes is $1,000.

Some omission!

What about raffle tickets?
How much are they? Where can you buy them?

They're $5, 5 for $20. I bought some from Deb Steines at Green and Gold but I imagine they'll be on sale in the office?

Oh, and the bidding for the chairs is only open to shareholders at first - if they don't get 140 bids over $1000, they'll open it up to the public after that, sometime in midwinter I believe.

MRG set themselves a limit of Jan 30th to sell the 140 tickets to shareholders. That's only 3 months (and change) away!

My prediction is that this project gets pushed back to the 2008 summer period with a Dec '08 opening.

Whew.. Im glad that they are fixing the single! When I first read this post I thought maybe it was going to be replaced by a high speed quad.
