The subject came up all day. A 75 year old ski bum gave me his thought$$. Why do you think it was closed?

Skiing there monday with, oh, about 30 of my closest friends, I can only imagine it was $$. Probably costs about 2x to run both mountains, so during the season winding down phase one or the other is all that makes sense. Maybe they are giving LP a last hurrah, then they'll close it off and extend as long as possible with ME.

Can't say I know anything, though. Other than the groomed at the top of ME monday was sweet.

Icing and we let anyone who wanted ski or ride at LP yesterday only but hardly anyone can out. Still had to clear some ice this am but both are open.
