About a quarter mile south of the SB access road on 100 there's a house with a sign saying McDonalds Drive thru coming soon. This is a joke, right?

According to the Distorter, it is. She said they couldn't get a McDonald's there. . . Because that area is zoned for Burger King. Laughing

It was pretty clear that it was a hoax. Neither sign actually had the name "McDonalds." One sign said "drive through coming soon," and the other said "I'm lovin' it" with a good approximation of the golden arches. It was pretty funny to see everyone freak out.

A few years ago someone put a similar sign at the horse barn on the corner of German Flats and RT 17, but that was on April 1st . . .

April 1 jokes get me every year in the "Exit 10".
Best one I liked was the traffic light at the intersection of Camel's Hump Road and Duxbury Road in Duxbury because of the "god damn (expletive deleted) flatlanders". The article said that - and I knew right there that it was 4/1.
