I understand taking it down for safety reasons, but I've stated before that this is my favorite place to spend a day on a crowded day.

No lines, easy access to the Mall and Twist (two of my faves), no long flat for snowboarding buddies make it a great place to spend an afternoon. I hope that not only does it come back fixed, but with a fresh coat of paint and some respect. The orange construction tape is pretty unsightly on the chairs missing footrests / safety bars, why not just take them down if they can't be fixed?

Anyway, this year has been excellent and I can't wait to get some more weekends in.

Sad to see it down, hope it can get back up and running!
What's the timetable again on the replacement of the lift and the demolition of the VH Lodge? I remember that had been postponed a summer, but is that now this coming summer?
