Yesterday: Nice 3-4 inches of granulated sugar over firm but pliable base.

Last night considerable amount of r@!n, not diminishing base but polishing the surface.

Today: Widholds early thru mid day: I walked up the hill in the morning, Mtn ops scrambling every where trying to make things right. despite the effort, surfaces were mainly firm to icy with wind scoured accumulations of granular. Winds seemed to pick up into the early evening but have calmed a little since dark.

It snowed mostly all day but only in earnest in the afternoon into the early evening At last run with a 10, 7, 4 and 43 year olds it was coming down good and we were making legit fresh tracks in 3-4 inches of fresh on pushover at 4:15. Depending upon overnight snow showers things should be good to hopefully very good for tomorrow. Right now all is quiet: a little blustery and the moon is showing through the cloud cover no precip at the moment.
