If you're thinking of not skiing or riding this weekend, you might want to reconsider. The base is as deep as I have ever seen it at this point in the season and deeper than most years get at their peak. If it's not dumping, the sun's out.

And to top it off, there's a heavy snow/ winter storm watch is up for tonight. What? Oh yeah!

Thanks. I wasn't joking. I'm thinking I may have seen him then a couple Saturday's ago (2/9?) traversing into the woods from Paradise. He (if it was him) was with a group of about a half-dozen kids and I was alone (yeah, I know). We had a quick exchange about where we were skiing and then he (if it was him) told me to go ahead of his group at the top of the run. John--any chance that was you?
