The drift was so high at the chamber office I had to lay down on top of it and roll over to the door to drop my stuff and grab a shovel.

Shoveling hurts.

Good thing it's not too windy though.

My god there is so much snow.

Is 2 and a half feet of snow too much for a roof to take?

yup. Son is home and has done porch roof and two decks. Together we will tackle the main roof tonight. Make sure your sewer vent pipe is sticking up thru the snow- you don't want a methane build-up. Also, other heat vents as for Rinnai or propane/natural gas furnaces.

In March of 2001 we got not one but two similar storms a week apart. Maybe not a big as this one but both were pretty big nevertherless.
