Just curious if anyone knows what is going on with that big white house on Village rd - you know, the one that looks like it belongs in the Mos Eisley spaceport.

It still seems to be empty, but the for sale sign is gone. Just curious what happened with this.

It needs another round of paintball attacks with some greens and browns to blend it in. LOLOL

I think the sign has been gone since early spring, but I've not seen any life around there. On the other hand, I seldom get up that way.

I can't look at it w/o thinking of Crocket and Tubbs.

They wanted $900K for it. I heard they stoped showing it until the economy gets a little better. They were getting half price offers and shrugged them off. My wife and I drive by that thing, shake our heads and say, "what were they thinking". I guess the top floor actually has a pretty nice view but the finishes are average. They will never get what they want. It should have been a log home or a swiss style chalet.

Have you seen the one by the same builder at the end of that dirt road? It is amazing to think they were done by the same people!

he also built some chalet looking log cabin on one of the roads by the golf course. Not sure exactly where. The problem with the white elephant other than it being just that is they need to spin it on the foundation. the views don't look out at the mountain Correctly. So, I have been told. At one pt. it was listed at a million (I believe). so the 900k is a drop in price. The best thing is that it truely is an icon now as it is on the little area maps that you find around town.

I had heard that, too, but that was quite a while ago. As this one has sold soooo well.. I do have to wonder if that is still his plan.

I am pretty sure that he does own that lot as well.
