View Full Version : It's 90 in Vermont but there's hope
From a story about the 2011 Farmer's Almanac:
It'll still be colder than normal for much of the country, the almanac says, and New England will get a "cold slap in the face" after missing last winter's misery.
Any other predictions out there?

let this be the 2010 winter forecast thread.
from what i understand we are headed into a La nina winter similar to '07/'08. meaning the southeast/mid atlantic will be above normal temperature wise. The GL/MW should see above normal snow as will the northwest/rockies. NE will be a battle zone so lets hope we are on the right side of the r&*n/snow line. fingers crossed.

293" Though honestly, I messed up last year, after exceeding expectations the year before. I have to say, even though I overshot the 09-10 snow total, it fell when it needed to and it held up pretty well, considering the low total. Of course, that is just what I hear....
