Escaped from the mountain, last night, for a few hours.

Went to see An Ideal Husband, at the Valley Players.

It was written in 1895, in England, but you would think some of the characters were written from the TV news, today. Amazing how well it holds up, and Wilde's writing is just so good!

Thought it was well done. And at only $12, what a bargain!

And it was produced by someone we all know.

If you're in the valley during the next two weekends, I strongly suggest you check it out.

Thanks, Lostone. Did you get any pointers? Nice to see you, and looking forward to another successful weekend (July 1,2,3). No show on July 4, 'cause we all know where we need to be on THAT day!

Don't know if I'd call them pointers, at this... point. More like reasons things didn't work, or more likely, partial reasons.

But I was really impressed by Wilde's writing, and, of course, the presentation of it. I saw "The Importance of Being Earnest", many, many moons ago. Not sure it it wasn't as intense, or if I just missed it.
