I hiked Stein's on Saturday and there was more snow than on closing last year. Oh well...heading to Sugarloaf on Friday.

Me , too. I went on Sunday and the top of the mt. was in great shape. I don't think the driving will be fun tomorrow but the sun should return on Fri. with lighter winds. We got the last of misery whip. Unless they reopen that side. hiked to the snowfields and came down gondi.

Have fun people. :wink:
Already swithed gears. I have been on my bike almost every day. Made up with my summer friends. Even been to the beach.
This year got me down so I just figured it best to let it rest instead of hanging on. I will be back up once Mr. Atkinson and crew spruce up the MTB park. See you then.

I'm going to the beach , too. ; } Hope it's white when I get there. I can bike for the next six months but I can only ride for the next 5 days. ; { And , btw , I didn't find any snobs at the loaf on Sunday but the snow was Sweet!!

The beach is white. They are not predicted to get as much as Vermont but as stated before , the top half was sweet last Sunday and staying up there for 3 hours was awesome.

You weren't paying attention. :wink: After you left they talked behind your back. :lol:

You don't have to convince me that sking is great. I just have had enought this year. 60 days with the conditions we had was plenty. I am having way to much fun this spring riding on the road and in the woods. I have been reaquainted with my summer friends and you know, they are great like my winter friends. Who knew? The schedule is packed this year with huge fun of all kinds. I am going to diversify this year instead of chasing the snow like I have been doing for the last 20 years. It feels good.

Have fun.

BTW - One would think that the mountain closing is a blessing. All that snow and no one around. You just have to work for it which makes it all that much better. :wink:

If I was local , I'd be on it. Hiked Tux on the 18th. And it will be there when the lifts close. ; }
Have a great summer , Hawk!

Seems wrong to see "Snow" in the weather box on a green summer SB page.

Clearly not in the best interest of their customers (or employers)! Snowsports on snow? On 4/29? I guess it *is* possible to repoen for a day or two if you really want to.

Just got back from driving over app gap. Pulled into the to overlook, hiked a little to get to the unesturbed snow, top 1" frozen! Will need to warm up & the corn will be fine.

Just got a call from the Postman. He just hiked to the top of Jay and skied one of the top shoots. Said it was 2 feet deep and fluffy for the first half. Lucky him.

I have no idea who this is, but who wouldn't want a sweet turn like that on the internet anyway?
