Thanks to Win and crew for opening this weekend. The skiing was very good. Midwinter conditions on Saturday Morning with some fresh snow! Sun came out both days and it was nice. Still some good snow to be had folks. Stein's is very deep as is Spring Fling. Glad to see that they pushed the snow on far skier's right for Upper Snowball in comparison to two years ago when we were skiing along the ridgeline and it was pretty thin. Scary that we have almost the same amount of snow as we did in May 2008 :shock:
I thought that Birdland and Lower OG/Jester looked doable. Folks were poaching it today...I didn't want to have my pass taken so I didn't...but I imagine that there must be a big bare spot or something that one cannot see from the lift.
