1) When doing a top-to-bottom non-stop, including Stein's is not a good idea.

B) Going down Stein's was a good idea, today! 8)

Stein's was terrific, best run of the day - at least my day. Exchanged hellos w/ Win around noon and he mentioned Stein's, and that they were planning to keep on gunning it through the day and possibly more. We hit it 20 minutes later. Delicious. The boys were psyched as were the dads. Big piles of snow, you could edge most everything w/ ease.

As an aside, it lookeed like they were using 100% snowmaking capacity most of the day on Lincoln Peak - even in spite of the winds (which in the AM were not insignificant). Ventured into some treed areas, cautiously. A couple to a few inches lies atop the crud. The areas more prone to wind loading are better than the others as you'd suspect. Not too bad but plenty of things to be on the lookout for. Another couple 6-8" snows and many spots will be all set.
