The radar on the sugarbush website has the rain line real close to the mountain at this point. Thank goodness it is getting dark and colder. Did we stay all snow?

At least at the bottom, the answer is no.

On the good side, the forecasts had a quick turnover, early this morning, but we had snow until well into the afternoon. :)

I can live with that. Cause I think we made out the best altogether in Vt. We got a foot at top, Jay only 6 inches and Stowe only about 5-8 according to their websites. Rain line definitely hit Kmart earlier than the bush as well. Stoked for Turkey day especially since the guns are firing on Ripcord!!!!!

Apparently it was rain in the Valley below the Old Blue Tooth on the access road. It snowed up here until late in the afteternoon now we are getting some light rain but the radar shows there isn't a lot left to come this way. It is still below freezing at the summit but now warmer at mid-mountain so we are probably getting some rain at that level too now. However, it will be turning colder tonight so this should help to set up the snow and make for a better base. If that happens, it won't take too many more inches to make things very skiiable. Last week we had two or three rain events that worked this way and was once of the reason why we had such good conditions with less snow than the prior year. The guns let turned on Ripcord sometime around midnight if the temperatures drop up there as forecasted.
