Three days of riding this weekend, 2 of which were at the Bush...
SAT - Mt Ellen,
crowds - few, liftlines - none, wx - snow most of the day, some nice pow to be had around
upp lookin good very icy dicey, cruisers were great, walts seems to get more crowded each week
SUN - Lincoln Peak
Don't like the new one-way-in gate house lift setup - everyone funnels into a "chute" to reach the lift. many weren't
understanding the fact that its a quad, and i rode solo on most of the runs I took. North Lynx/Birch Run was pick of
the day for me - 3 in succesion. Very nice. No ice up top. Word got out - it got crowded!
Bravo lines were long - me thinks the Valley House would've been nice to have running.
HG as usual had no line. One of the Jester switchbacks was a sheet of ice.
Murphys was also ice on skier's right, so I bailed onto Birdland - 1000x better
Guns a'blastin on Steins, right down to conjunction junction
Slide brook ran all weekend, though I didnt take it Sun, though thought about it.
Took one nasty fall on Sleeper Chutes, took me down to the bot of the drop, oh what fun!
A great weekend for sure
Be back next weekend with friends up from CT -
wow - not riding solo for the first time since 3/07
(unless they want to ditch me, but then I'll lock 'em out and they'll be sleeping in the cold - long walk back to H20land)
