Those of you who were out today, know that the mountain came through the week's thaw and yesterday's rain better than we might have feared. 99 of 111 trails are still open, and we should be over 100 tomorrow when FIS reopens. Grooming did their usually nice job, and the surprise of the day was how soft Castlerock got. Tonight we have a very aggressive grooming plan which will include Ripcord and Stein's at LP and Cliffs at ME. Some natural snow on top on them will make skiing and riding them a treat on Monday. We will continue blowing snow on Upper Jester and Upper Organgrinder and Rim Run and FIS throughout the night before switching over to some other terrain tomorrow. With fairly good temperatures throughout the week, we should have our snowmaking trails in very good shape by MLK weekend. Unfortunately, the woods are thin!

It does look like we will get some snow starting late tomorrow night into Monday. Our forecast is showing 3-6", but let's hope the storm track favors us and brings in more. Even 6" will have most of the natural trails skiing and riding nicely on Monday.
