It is absolutely gorgeous at Sugarbush today. The trails are drained and drying out, the sun is blazing and the fall colors are starting to pop.

And a wonderful day it was.

I had some problem trying to decide to play the upper course, or hike to the top . . . until I was throwing at the pin for the second hole, and the disk made a solid left turn.

For those that aren't aware, the left of the approach to pin 2 is the same as going straight instead of turning left, on the last turn on Jester, toward Allyn's Traverse.

That means the disc left the trail and dropped about 25 feet of the ugliest climbing.

I decided to hike to the top, where it was one of the clearest days. :) Too bad the color wasn't a little more advanced. Everyone I saw was in a great mood, and remarked what a nice day it was. 44° at the peak.

Instead of taking the lift back down, I hiked to the bottom, playing what ever holes I passed and felt like. To put it another way, I hiked to the bottom by way of a lot of segments of woods.
