That's the driving range.

That's what I mean. Did they put them in instead of the grass.

I haven't been there in some time but I know that on the range they've always had problems keeping grass down - the mats, while plasticy and kinda gross, somewhat make sense in terms of having a stable surface to shoot from...

We have mats on the range but there is natural grass as well. The mats are great when the ground is soggy and when the natural spaces are regrowing. The course hasn't been in better shape in years so head and test the product for yourself!

When the ground is soggy???

Why would the ground be soggy? Oh wait... someone in the next condo has started to build an ark.

On the strange side, there is this yellow disk in the sky. (Maybe from one of the lost disc golf discs? )

And the really strange side, they are talking about a good weekend! :D Mostly sunny, in the ...60s? Great weather to be on the hill! :D 8)

We have totally redone the practice tees and the new sod is growing in well. The plan once the sod is firmly rooted is to use the mats a few times a week and hit off the grass the rest of the week. That keeps the practice key in great shape for the entire season. Even with all the rain of the past few days, the course is drying out well and the next three days look excellent, so both disc and "ball" golf shoud be fun this weekend.

Win, Thanks for the update. I have really enjoyed the grass tee's and would hate to loose them. There is nothing better for your game than using grass tee's. I understand your thinking, and know it help preserves the grass. Is there going to be any set schedule for when the grass is used?
