Heading up to MRV next weekend Apr 19-22 and hoping to enjoy some snowmobiling with my son.

Much appreciate if anyone sugest an outfit, esp one that may still be open for the season (given all this insane snow!). Willing to drive 1.5 hours from Sugrabush area to make it happen. Thanks in advance.

There is a place at Stowe. Don't know if it is still open.

Appreciate the help, had tried them and they are closed for the season - even with all this snow  .

(and yes I know the valley have gotten a bit less than on top but 9" in past 24 hours at lower elevations not too shabby)

I live near the bottom of the access road and the 4" we got last night has all but melted. It's mid-April, not too many people around looking to rent a snowmobile. I would call Kenyon's....496-3922, if there is any snowmobiling around they would know about it. Most of the xc centers in Vermont have closed for the season as have, I suspect, the snowmobile places. Despite all the snow up at the Bush, in the lower elevations it's basically off-season and the snow is melting fast.

FYI:

All trails are now closed for the season. The ground has started to thaw in most places and gates on all trail systems are closed out of respect for the gracious landowners.

We thank you for your support this winter and wish you all a safe and fun filled summer. We also would like to urge you to volunteer just a few hours of your time to help your local club cutr brush and maintain trails. Give them a call to find out what you can do to help and when. Much of the contact information is listed on the website! Thank you.

If you really want to go snowmobiling, I'd say head to the Katahdin area in northern Maine (14" in valleys yesterday):
