Vermonters either endured or embraced Thursday's wintry weather. The Sugarbush Resort in Warren released a mocking "news" statement apologizing to the public for the lack of springtime mud and muck. Instead, the ski area asked would-be resort visitors to endure 8 inches of new snow on top of the deep, powdery snow left behind by previous storms this month. Resort officials said Sugarbush would likely remain open into May.
