OK. It may be too early to be labeling anything "Best weeked of..." for the year, but IMHO this was the best bump weekend of the year so far. Saturday we stayed on Twist all day from 8:30 to 4 (brief hiadus to try and get to North because of the lines - Big mistake). The lines on Twist were so sweet they would have made Charlie Sheen's nose bleed. They were well lined up and soft as could be. You could really just point them. Then on Sunday we went to North. First run we did Tumbler and nearly called it a day. It was glazed and a complete change from Saturday. We decided to give old faithful a shot and did the first section of Bravo to Exterminator (The Bravonator as one of my buddies calls it). We stayed on that for the rest of the day and just ran out lower Exterminator as fast as we could to get back to the top.

Anyone else enjoy the face melting bliss of the bumps this weekend? They were so nice I had no issues waiting in lines this weekend. The lines on the trail more than made up for the lines on the mountain.

Twist was good last week as well. No surprise they were so good on Saturday.

I skied Spillsville last Wednesday and got thrown all over the place. Tons of very dense wind-packed snow in the troughs. It really needed to be skied in a bit.
