atkinson, you are too kind to for your trip reports....

but please keep it up, you are helping far more people than you'll ever know generate more complete visions for their daydreams.

By the look of those pics, there is as much pow up there as there ever was last season!

Let's not get carried away!

I like those pix. And last year wasn't the best of years.

But please don't tell me there wasn't some great skiing last year.

Castlerock's opening day? (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lostone/sets/1671755/)

The rule is... Be there on the good days, and maybe be at the right place.

Maybe everywere will be the right place. :D

These pics and the ones from the other post are great! Keep 'em coming

To Lostone's point I would have to agree that while last "season" was not the best, I did have some of my days of Powder skiing last winter!

Yea, Lostone's got a good point. I remember one year, maybe 1999? when we got this huge storm in October, opened most of the mountain then got the rain and we had to shut the mountain down the day before Thanksgiving. Alot of guests were already on there way up, we gave away alot of vouchers that weekend.

As far as powder memories go I will never forget March of 2001, got 2 huge storms. I didn't get a skiing shot but this one should bring back a few good memories.

I believe we were blessed with 9 feet that march. My poor dog had trouble finding the best spot to relieve himself.
Remember the 7 year cycle. This season, good, next season, see above.
