It’s been 2+ years in the planning and now it is 8 days away. 12 Sugarbush/Mad River enthuses/pass holders are heading south. The master skier John Egan (and his son) plus Dean Decanis and Sugarbush North Ski Pro Arturo Lyons are our guides. We have 7 days of extreme skiing, based out of La Parva Chile. Helicopter is lined up for a day or two. A 7000 foot run is possible. Weekend at the end is two days in Santiago enjoying South American city (or ski Porteo if no fresh powder) It’s been snowing hard over the last 4 days. Pictures soon! Unfortunately no trees…..but PITCH ~:)

Have a great time! Portillo will be fun too if you get there....... I'm headed to Valle Nevado 8/25. Helps me get through all the unbelievably humid and damp weather we've had recently. I also had the good fortune to cruise to Alaska earlier this month, where we got to walk on glaciers - which got me fired up for CHILE!

GS: Have a great trip!! Hope the group is avi savy if you are going to get truely off piste. Since I think I know some of the group, not sure just how much everyone uses beacons, probe, shovels. Should be able to use it like a remote control. Hopin' its all in your packs.AHM
