Ride Delaware ?

I got to the parking lot about 8:50 this morning with a good line of cars trickling it. I snagged a spot in the fifth row and headed up to Super Bravo. Lift line was non existent. I took two runs off that to Lower OG. Snow guns were dry early and the snow was fun. Many people stayed away from the snow guns so traffic was low. Lost a binding ratchet and had to stop by the rental/repair shop. They had the part and seemed to be very busy with rentals and tunes. Got back on Super Bravo and headed down Downspout to Heaven's Gate. Downspout was busy and a little scratchy in places. They winched OG last night and it was prime. Decent amount of traffic on it. Jester was equally as good but it was starting to get scratchy around the tight corners. On my last run Heaven's Gate had about a minute line.

I left after 7-8 runs. Snow was pretty decent for the time of year. Snowmaking progress looks promising and other trails should open soon giving us some more routes into the base. It will be nice to take some of the traffic off of Coffee Run. Gate House opened today and seemed to be getting used moderately. I didn't have the desire to go over there, but perhaps I will try it on my next day out. On my way out people were still trickling in. I think they have had a good showing so far this weekend. It was nice to see the base area alive.

RD, thx for this update. Happy to see the mt up and running and all enjoying what looks like some great early season conditions. And a special thx for the great pictures from those like myself who are on the sidelines to begin the 13-14 ski season. Keep them coming if you can!
