he always has big plans, but by the time he gets his arse out of bed, I'm ready for my 11am brunch. prefer to pace myself if you know what I mean.

...and you are....?

So if anyone needs info or a scoop on what's-what and what's-where (that is not about boards on snow), feel free to ask. If I don't know the answer, I'll get it, or at least I will make up something good enough to get by you. Weather is turning and soon you will be too!

...speaking of upgrading backcountry packages ... i need to mount some new AXL's i picked up at the end of last season on a new mid-fat i picked up at the end of last season and i am in no way capable of doing this myself. where's the "go to" place in the valley to mount telemark binders?

Depends on who you talk to. Some like VT North at the bottom of the Access Rd. Some like Mountain Side in the village. I like Alpine Options.

Thanks ... I'm asking because I feel like Alpine Options is stepping back a bit from a commitment to telemark ... and VermontNorth are alpine gods (love the way they tune a ski) ... and I don't know as much as I should about Mountainside ... and frankly I've heard mixed reviews on Clearwater though I should walk in there and form my own assessment. I'd go to MRG shop in a heartbeat but I'm jonesing to have them mounted, like soon. Yep, I've got the buzz for sure.

They still have the same technicians and do qulity work when it comes to mounting. I know that at least two guys in the shop tele and ski MRG.

I wish that I could have made it to K on Saturday, but still a bit too early for me. But, this helps to get a bit stoked about 2012-12 season.........
