Ok. So heavans gate is closed. Any point to hiking from the bravo over to ripcord? Is it possible to make it down downspout with some walking???

Unfortunately they won't allow you past Allyn's lodge for hiking. A shame with the snow almost gone they wont allow access to what little is left. I understand the need for closing it, but feel they should look the other way a little more nicely and not have an attitude if you wish to head up there. There are some collapsing sections which can be dangerous, but skiing is an inherently dangerous sport... Its not like there is a severe avalanche risk or even them wanting to preserve the "product". Some people just like to exercise their authority and are perhaps jealous of fun seekers while they are on duty. It is ski-able most of the way down.
