I noticed that SB cut back on the grooming last night due to the warm temps and wet snow conditions. However, a friend got the snow retport from Stowe which indicated they groomed 60 trails last night. Are there different philosophies/approaches to this? curious.

I am not sure what their approach is but we believe that putting groomers out with a warm wind and soft snow will not improve the conditions and will actually be less effective is preserving the snow cover. What we groomed the previous night didn't mogul up so the trails this am we fairly flat.

and BTW- another weekend saved by last minute fresh snow. this winter is remarkable for how good the conditions have been on the weekends despite the lack of snow overall.

The State truck just went by spraying the salt brine on the roads. That says "snow tonight"...
